By creating an account and using CoParent AI, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and CoParent AI.
CoParent AI is a communication documentation platform designed to help separated or divorced parents maintain structured, documented communication records. The platform provides AI-assisted communication tools, cryptographic message verification, and documentation export features. CoParent AI is NOT a legal service and does NOT provide legal advice.
IMPORTANT: CoParent AI is a technology platform, not a law firm. Nothing on this platform constitutes legal advice. AI-generated summaries, classifications, risk scores, and recommendations are for organizational purposes only. You should consult a qualified family law attorney before relying on any content from this platform in legal proceedings. The platform's exports are organizational tools, not certified legal documents.
Messages sent through CoParent AI are stored as permanent, immutable records. Once sent, a message cannot be edited or deleted by either party. This is a core feature of the platform designed to ensure record integrity. By sending a message, you acknowledge that it becomes a permanent part of your communication record.
All messages are analyzed by AI before sending for tone, emotional content, and potential legal risk. This screening is provided as a courtesy tool to help users communicate professionally. Users on paid plans may receive AI-rewritten suggestions. Users may choose to override AI warnings and send original messages. All AI screening activities are logged.
You agree to use CoParent AI only for legitimate co-parenting communication purposes. You may not use the platform to harass, threaten, or harm others. You may not attempt to circumvent the immutability features or tamper with message records. You may not use the platform for any illegal purpose.
Your messages and records are stored securely and are accessible only to you and your connected co-parent within your shared conversation. We do not sell your personal data. Please review our Privacy Policy for complete details on data handling and your rights.
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial billing periods. Free plan features remain available after cancellation of a paid plan.
CoParent AI is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the platform, including damages arising from reliance on AI-generated content in legal proceedings. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may update these terms at any time. We will notify you by email and post the updated terms on this page. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
